One Wing Of Kyushu

I had my first rescue today. A kid fell in the water without his waterwings and ending up sinking to the bottom with his mother panicking and fluttering around. It's strange, I saw her swimming about earlier. But as soon as the need to swim arises she stays on land and panics. Strange...

I got the kid out of the water, administered first aid and he soon started spluttering and crying for his mother. She was very grateful.

I was just doing my job. But hopefully next time the kid will remember that he floats better with inflatable wings.
